Missed your flu shot and someone in your house came down with the flu? Ask your doctor for a prescription for Tamiflu for you and the rest of your family. “Not only can it shave 24 hours off the length of the flu when taken in its earliest stages, but research shows it can help healthy family members avoid catching the virus by preventing it from replicating in your body and taking hold,” says Edward Jardini, M.D., author of How to Save on Prescription Drugs.
